Buyers shortlist vessels in seconds, from a thumbnail, on a phone. A yacht listing video is what moves a boat from that shortlist to an inspection — and what keeps a serious international buyer from writing off a vessel they would have bought in person.
What a listing video needs to do
Answer the questions a broker fields on every call. How does the layout actually flow. What condition is the interior in. How does she sit and run. A video that opens on drone footage and cuts to lifestyle shots answers none of that, and buyers know it.
We shoot walkthroughs that read as an honest tour: helm, saloon, galley, staterooms, heads, engine room, and deck spaces in an order that makes spatial sense rather than whichever order looked good.
What is included
- Interior walkthrough with lighting brought aboard. Yacht interiors are dark and full of gloss and mirror; available light alone produces a muddy, reflection-blown result.
- Exterior and deck coverage at a time of day chosen for the vessel and her orientation in the slip.
- Aerial coverage included as standard, not billed separately.
- Running footage where specified — tracking shots underway from a chase vessel.
- Specification overlays for length, beam, draft, power, and year, so a buyer does not have to leave the video to find them.
Delivered in listing-platform specs
A primary cut for the listing and broker site, a shorter cut for buyer outreach, and vertical versions for social. Compressed to upload cleanly to the major brokerage portals rather than handed over as a file that fails on ingest.
Running footage: the honest version
Underway footage is the single most persuasive asset for a motor yacht and the most expensive to produce. It needs a chase vessel, a second crew position, a captain, coordinated timing, and a weather window that holds. Priced separately for that reason.
For vessels under 50 feet, or where a sale is likely to close locally, dockside coverage with aerials often does the job at a fraction of the cost. We will say so rather than sell the larger package by default.
Pricing

Frequently asked questions
How long should a yacht listing video be?
Three to five minutes for the primary walkthrough on a vessel of any size, plus a sixty to ninety second cut for outreach and social. Buyers who are genuinely interested will watch the long version; everyone else needs the short one.
Do you need the vessel cleaned and staged?
Yes, and this matters more than any equipment decision. A detailed, destaged vessel with personal effects removed photographs dramatically better. We send a prep checklist ahead of the shoot.
How far ahead should I book?
One to two weeks in normal conditions. Around the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, book months ahead — the whole market competes for the same crews and weather windows.
Can you shoot a vessel that is currently chartering?
Yes, working around the charter calendar. Turnaround windows between guests are usually workable with advance notice.
Who owns the footage?
You receive an unlimited-use licence to the delivered edits for marketing the vessel. The licence follows the vessel rather than the broker — so if the listing moves, the media stays usable for the sale. Raw footage is retained by us, and we retain portfolio rights.
